End of an era. The McDonald's is no more as of today. The new location over at Joe Shuster is not yet open (looks to be weeks away).

I was told by First Capital that the space gets turned over to McDonalds for fit-outs early December, so it should be more than a few weeks.

I walked by last night and it was in total darkness and thought maybe they had just stopped 24 hour service. Really surprised they didn't give any notice for their closure.
In any event, expect a good amount of demo/construction updates from me since I live so close.

The McDonald's sign is up at the new location as of today and they've been working there for a few weeks now. Latest date I've heard (from staff at the old location) was mid-December for an opening.

As of today everything is closed and everyone is gone....as much as i like this development it's kind of sad to see all these businesses shut their doors..☹
