Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

I have to disagree - especially Stanley condo is a complete disgrace in architects/designer community -they literally copy and pasted the tower of 11 wellesley on its boxy podium .
Anyone wth any knowledge whatsoever of architecture would recognize that as a patently ridiculous thing to claim. Stanley may have been the second of the two, but it debuted only a few weeks after WotP, so they would have been designed pretty much simultaneously. Besides, Wellesley on the Park does not own curves, and was not the first curved building anywhere, both buildings owing a design debt to Harbor Point in Chicago, Stanley more so.

They did not come out simultaneously, Stanley was released at least 6 months after WotP sale.

Of course, Wellesley on the Park does not own curves. but I believe Stanley condo design crossed the line. its floor plan is beyond similar to WotP plan , as you can see below

They were designed at virtually the same time, and as I said, neither represents unprecedented design. Your point is non-sensical.
