It's a slow demolition. This afternoon, work was underway tearing down the rear, behind Urbane Cyclist.

@ProjectEnd, thanks for the photos, particularly the last one with the view of the lane between the Waverley and the Scott Mission. Forty years ago plus, I lived for the summer in the Scott Mission as the night man. That involved opening and closing the building each day, receiving after hours donations of goods, running a drop in center and keeping an eye on the building as a whole. One night I caught sight of an unusual glow and decided to investigate. It turned out somebody had set fire to the garbage which was stacked in that lane, awaiting pickup. The fire department arrived quickly and no harm was done, I am glad to say. Your photo brought back that memory.
