A new midrise for 162 Main Street Unionville.
This is the same developer, but is it the same project? The link says Richmond Hill.
I would have said this was not the Markham location one if they did not promote their condos before they submitted applications, or if that association just got confused as they market all their buildings with the same name. Anyways, the last update I could find on this building is from February 2020, where a minor variance application was submitted on regard of the development. https://pub-markham.escribemeetings.com/filestream.ashx?DocumentId=24685. Considering 4-5 floors is what is most likely to be built here, the renderings above must be the Richmond Hill location, like their Instagram posts also claim. What even is that stock image on their website? It does not even correlate to the site at hand.Reid advised that the Watford Group is planning to build five-story, mixed-use condos on the back half of the properties spanning from the Blacksmith’s Bistro to Gran Sasso/Dairy Queen. An application to the City has not been submitted at this time, however this has not delayed the Watford Group from promoting the condos.
The Owner submitted Official Plan and Zoning amendment applications in support of a conceptual residential development including two stand-alone, four storey residential buildings, residential rear additions to the historic buildings addressed as 174 and 182 Main Street Unionville, and a new mixed use 3 storey building at 186 Main Street Unionville.
