Looks like they've scrapped the "awning" which is a shame, as it tied the two sections together nicely.

If they covered that column in the terra cotta material, it would look amazing. I wonder how much that would cost relative to the whole project?

Is it mediocre? Absolutely. But at least the finishing and attention to detail seem good.

...meanwhile, my mind will forever be pushing those columns to a more symmetrical positioning if not trying to remove them altogether. Wabi-sabi be damned! >.<
