This is going in front of the Design review panel in Vaughan on the 30th. Looks like a massive site southeast of Jane & 7 in the VMC.

Apparently it is being called "Vaughan City Square". It is in the pre-application stages with the city. We learn from this recent report the following information:

This site contains 9 towers with 25, 25, 39, 39, 49, 50, 58, and 58 storey buildings, along with 69 townhomes, totalling 4,088,725 sqft of residential GFA and 29,924 sqft of commercial GFA and 4,376 residential units.

And that the site for all this residential density appears to be the NCI Vaughan Iceplex and surrounding lots as per this image:

New development in Plan-It. 9 towers total, on 6 podiums, ranging from 30-58 floors. Looks to be done in 3 phases. On Jane st. south of Hwy 7. Lots of green space between and around buildings.

The sit itself is odd though, located on side streets and behind Black Creek. Will be good for giving Highway 407 station walk-in traffic though.
