Not since the pandemic.

It's a great mix of lifestyle brands and fast food - they serve commuters and the arena/concert goer crowd. Kibo deals are work (50%) are also great for a grab and go dinner and cashless makes the transactions faster.

This reminds me of people here thinking anything that isn't a Harveys is elitist. They just mean not-white.
I love Roywoods especially the union station location that doesn’t mean that it’s not more expensive than Harvey’s.

There’s no coded racism here. I simply miss the less expensive union station and prefer it to what I see here.

I’ll admit when I lived downtown people used to make an uproar about the gentrification of places like Queen west or Yonge street. Arcades and comic books stores replaces for Aldines, banks, and shoppers drug marts. I argued but it’s all cleaner. It looks nicer. That’s great. Union station is now cleaner and nicer but it’s also a lot more generic and on top of that more expensive.

To think about it I what frustrates me is not union. Actually union probably should be cleaner. But does the entire city need to be gentrified.

Never said racist. I just found it funny that people were complaining about the "good ol days" of simple food like Harveys when everything from sushi, lunchboxes, arepas, etc. are quite simple - just not white basics.

I still think they need GO departure boards in the food court.
I agree on this point; at least until we get a reliable and frequent headway. It'd be nice for VIA data to be piped in too.

Best news I’ve read in this thread in a long time!! Any images of what the proposed concrete barriers will look like? Please don’t be huge rectangular blocks but rather standard looking bollards.

C'mon now, it wouldnt be Toronto unless we paid respects to our history of nice cold and sterile grey. My guess is that they will be grey stone like this:
