Happy 50th, GO! by kotsy, on Flickr
Yes, I think this was announced a while ago. Anyone know if the rather 1970s VIA board is going to be upgraded?Just a quick comment on this picture, I'm told the lights will be replaced in the Great Hall and instead of the yellow highway-style orange lights, white lights will be added, they'll be softer and more of them. So it should make the Great Hall look even better. The lights shown in that picture will be replaced.

To each his own! To me, it really looks quite out of place now the Great Hall is becoming great again.I hope not, I love it!
Several of the arches (at least 5-8) are now up as of this afternoon! Great to see noticeable progress week by week now.

It looks relly good I wounder if they are working on this section now with plans to open it to the public with the new inside part of the bay conconcores so they can close off the temporary entrances and continue the work over them and dismantle the temporary entrances as well.June 3

It appears to me that they want to get the West Front Moat fully opened so that they can work on all or most of the East one at same time. The work on East Moat us moving on quite well behind the hoarding but sooner or later they will need to block off some of the exit doors from TTC.It looks relly good I wounder if they are working on this section now with plans to open it to the public with the new inside part of the bay conconcores so they can close off the temporary entrances and continue the work over them and dismantle the temporary entrances as well.
Any idea if or how they plan on preventing people from walking on the roof?
You have got to be kidding. Although with a handle like @Miscreant you may know a thing or two...Any idea if or how they plan on preventing people from walking on the roof?
Yeah. Common sense.
You don't see people walking on other skylights in the city. Because they'd be arrested.
