You know, I never understood that subway entrance, and I still don't.
I get the idea of the faux oxidized copper, but what is it supposed to play with?
Aside from the fact its a poor imitation of the real thing, it doesn't play w/this building, nor the limestone efforts further north...........
I suppose one could attempt to tie it in w/the legislature........but the shape is wrong and the concrete doesn't work any which way.
It seems really goofy to me.

I last visited the site was May 2022 even though I was around it shooting out site. One of the last few that over 12 months between visits to get back on track.

I love how this turned out, my only complaint is I wish they went with a rail system for their window washing equipment instead of the davits. All those cranes at the top take away a bit from the profile.
