They exist, there's CLT Shear Walls and Preserved Wood Foundation Walls and Footings - though they're not widely used (yet).Wood basements, 'vator cores and Jefferies tubes are not a thing yet...
However, they are much newer (and therefore less researched) compared to concrete or steel-plate counterparts. The wood design codes don't reflect predictable and safe deformation patterns like the concrete code does, it will take time (funding and subsequent research).
I imagine Wood Shear Walls and Foundations will increase in popularity so long as concrete continues to have a high-embodied carbon, as carbon capture in the concrete has proven to be quite difficult to implement at scale.
