This station is a colossal waste of money. Even with tur GO connection there is no need for such a large station building. It could just have been a simple station with a platform to connect with GO station and vertical access. The grande building and two station buildings is too much given the ridership here will be slim to none. It will be one of the least used stations in the system.

The best thing about the station is the beckoning proximity of the Downsview Park Merchant's Market. At the moment, *that's* its primary (weekend) raison d'etre.

Agreed re: the wonderfully wild Merchant's Market.

I HATE the lack of the railfan windows. Can't look out the front (or back) of the train as we enter or egress the stations, unless the cab door is open (which is unlikely).
It was for me to get a few videos and thats a first :):D

Lack of a railfan window is a pain, but it to stop you from seeing someone ending up on the front widow shield.

The minuscule number of suicides compared to the total number of trips would not merit blocking the front view for passengers. It's gone for other stupid reasons.

Downsview Park station doesn't even have a bus terminal so 5 TTC bus routes by-pass Downsview Park station (150m walk from bus stop to station) to go to SheppardWest Station with huge oversized bus terminal,... 4 of these bus routes use SheppardWest station as terminus bus stop:
- 101 DownsviewPark
- 106 Sentinel
- 107 StRegis
- 108 Driftwood
- 84 Sheppard West

Hilarious basically watching a constant stream of buses run on top of a subway line!!!

Downsview Park station is making Bessarion Station (Sheppard STUBway line) look like Union station!
