Gonna beat that dead horse once more-

Still salty about the fact that they didn't save the canopy, which was probably the only reason why the building would have been saved in the first place.

The subway entrance will likely open when the other subway entrance at Clover on Yonge does. They’re currently building the tunnel under Dundonald St linking the 2 new entrances.

The subway entrance still isn’t open.

They even had the lights activated on the above-door signage as well as the pylon the other day. Which like, that's gonna be confusing for anyone that isn't local. It looks like it should be an active subway entrance, and it's just... not.

I assume the wait is due to the tunnel connecting to the entrance being built at Clover, but surely they could just block that tunnel off and open this entrance before Clover is finished. Otherwise, it's gonna be a while before this opens.

What is the significance and purpose of the signage....

”Reconstructed
NINE FEET NORTH
(coordinates)”

is it some kind of academic public art installation?

The former building on site's facade was "reconstructed" (the quotes there because it was more of a reinterpretation than a reconstruction) nine feet north of its original location and integrated into the podium of the new tower.
