Tuesday, late afternoon. Please excuse the duplication below, but I found the two slightly different perspectives too good to resist. They remind me of the quote:

Here's an old quote by Creighton Abrams: “When eating an elephant, take one bite at a time.” Clearly, no one is encouraging dining on these fantastic animals, but it's good advice about how to tackle a huge, overwhelming project—like the climb to success.

I've been recently asked for a tip and a donation to the corporation's chosen charity. One is to pay employees less. The other is to pay less income taxes.

Nice photo!

I think the mechanical penthouse on top really takes away from the building. Are they still planning to clad it? For reference, in the HPA concept for 100 Simcoe they seem to show some cladding on 19 Duncan (which is also an HPA design). Maybe it got VE'd out?

...that might still be a work in progress. Kinda like what was done with Casa II.

There still seems to be scaffolding around the mechanical penthouse, which makes me think something is still coming.

Perhaps they’ll go for floating glass panels like HPA’s Shangri-La in the same shot, but I think they’ll wrap it in something similar to King Adelaide Centre’s cladding, both buildings had their roofs left uncladded for a bit.

Also that one pane of glass on the podium has been broken for over a year now
