Bad shot in low light but the footings are up for the facade retention system on the west side. I didn't get a chance to check out the north side, but I'd guess it's in similar shape. Will be nice to see some excavation here soon!

North side is still a ways from being ready. Still need to do the final excavation and rebar work for the pad. There was welding/cutting going on to the steel beams cemented into the ground this morning.

It had been a while since I last needed to drive instead of take the subway, and thus park on Adelaide, so I was hoping to see some changes. However, not much new has been done to the east and south facades since my previous set of photos earlier this month. I was able to capture the work on what I now understand to be the footings along Adelaide for the facade retention system, where there has been progress (see 3rd photo). Taken Friday:

anyone know why this is taking so long? We are a full year into construction and they still don't have the heritage facade supports in.

Two main reasons:
1. Issues pertaining to the initial general contractor on the job, since replaced by Ellis Don
2. Utilities around the site - much very detailed and painstaking work required to isolate and relocate. Reference - what happened at the PJ condos site with their utilities.
