Thirty Six Zorra had its groundbreaking on Wednesday, February 19, 2020:

The ground has been broken and construction is about to start on Thirty Six Zorra, a 35-storey condominium tower coming to Etobicoke between Kipling and Islington avenues near The Queensway. Altree Developments are joint-venture partnering with EllisDon Developments on the project.

This was how the site looked last Wednesday:

This cake was particularly good. Don't know who made it, but it was Opera Cake, and anyone who watches BakeOff will know that ain't no everyday cake! Pity about the colour of the table cover though, ecchhhhhh! (The cake looked better away from the table.)

Here's what the park across Zorra Street looks like at the moment, playground at the northeast end. Still fenced off for the moment. Opening sometime this Spring I suppose? This will no doubt be well-used by the community around it.
