I'm really loving this building
I'm with you. I like the overall scale of the development and perhaps the residential piece. However, I'm not a fan of the eastern office tower. It just screams boring slab.i dont know know man i go back and forth with this project. sometimes i hate it and sometimes i like it.
It only looks like a slab when viewed from the west, and that view will be mostly gone when the residential towers on Front are completed.I'm with you. It looks like a slab viewed from the east as well. Just my opinion of course. It only looks like a slab when viewed from the west, and that view will be mostly gone when the residential towers on Front are completed.
From the east you see the stepbacks. Of course you can argue that stepbacks are just a series of slabs with different heightIt looks like a slab viewed from the east as well. Just my opinion of course.
Exactly what I'd argue... at least in this caseFrom the east you see the stepbacks. Of course you can argue that stepbacks are just a series of slabs with different height
God forbid we build an office tower of...... stone or brick. All the low quality glass is exhausting.“We can NEVER have enough green glass!” , vows Toronto.
Apart from economic feasibility and commercial appetite for these buildings, does our construction workforce have the knowledge/capabilities to put up skyscrapers not made of glass? Are there any cities that are still putting up stone/brick skyscrapers?God forbid we build an office tower of...... stone or brick. All the low quality glass is exhausting.
I don't wanna "The One" this thread and make it about Fruit Co, but there are flagship mall stores. (Dezeen, ShopsinHK)There have been rumours of an Apple Store in The Well, but to be fair, that Apple Store location won't be a flagship.
