The site appears to have been sold to Schlegel Villages, who have submitted a site plan application with the following description:

To permit an eight storey long-term care facility consisting of 240 beds, a gross floor area of 12,598 square metres (135,603.74 square feet) and 134 parking spaces. The application also proposes to retain the existing commercial plaza on the subject lands. The proposed development represents the first phase of a multi-phase redevelopment of the overall landholding.
