Does anyone have knowledge regarding the lifting capacity of the tower cranes and/or truck cranes? I thought I read somewhere that the tower cranes could only lift say 9 tons and that the excavators weight more than that. So I was trying to figure out how they were going to get them out. Any insight would be appreciated.

I think you meant the one with the "x" is the crane base. The blue base is for the concrete pump as mentioned above.
