haven't looked at The One in months. Just checked in and realized One Yonge is going surpass The One for sure. It's basically guaranteed. Despite starting construction many years later HAHAHA.

It looks like they cement pour is wrapping up for the day. They poured it all down the walls and covered it up with plastic. It's hard to see what they actually did.

Great photos and great vantage point, Benito can take care or the Western Front, i will take care of the Northern front and you can take care of the Eastern Front, now we just need someone for the Southern Front.
 
Why do they need to shut down the street for the pour when they have a concrete pump installed? Is it being poured from both locations?
 
Haven't been here in a while. I can't believe this project is still stuck at such a low level. How long before the construction lenders just takes over? You can't presell units at 2017 prices and complete the building in 2027. You'll go bankrupt.
I wonder if he’s going to cancel sales and re launch. What’s happening with the height increase application? Was that at C of A?
 

Bridging Finance lent millions to a business partner of owner Jenny Coco, and the loan remains unpaid a decade later


One of Bridging Finance Inc.’s worst-performing loans was advanced to a business partner of Jenny Coco, the private lender’s majority owner, and the debt has languished on Bridging’s books for a decade, The Globe and Mail has learned.
The Globe has also learned that responsibility for the debt changed hands. Initially, the loan to Toronto real estate developer Sam Mizrahi was advanced by a small investment vehicle created by Bridging’s founders, Ms. Coco and Natasha Sharpe. However, it was later assigned to Bridging’s flagship retail investor fund, even though it was at odds with how the retail fund was marketed to investors. Because of the transfer, the fund’s investors are now saddled with the bad debt.
Mr. Mizrahi is currently the driving force behind The One, a long-delayed luxury skyscraper now under construction at the corner of Yonge and Bloor Streets in downtown Toronto. The One, which is backed financially by Ms. Coco, will be one of the tallest dwellings in Canada once it is erected.

This project and all the people involved are dirty. Toronto is a laundry machine for rich thieves.
 
Soooo...what does this mean for this current project? Are the creditors going to pull the plug on The One over this? Or will this be another chapter Mizrahi's history of "interesting" dealings...but it's business as usual for moving on with this project?
