Photos taken today, Friday, (Jan. 31). Since my Friday post last week, no visible progress at the very top as work continues on the 4th mechanical levels, 77-78. But movement below as all the blue corner forms have risen to around level 69. Below that, all the Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the building's skin have moved up, save for the west one. The east RCS is up a level to 53, and the north is up to level 52, with the west still at 50. The mini-RCS on the south face is up, to around level 49.

Something new this week for louvre lovers... the first glimpse of a corner with them installed, the netting and scaffolding mostly removed, on the NE corner.

An overcast day with some flurries, so somewhat dull. Starting with the view from down Yonge at Dundas, to the view from Charles just east of Yonge, then a closer look at the south face where the installed skin is visible up to level 53. Then, the view from Bloor in front of Holt Renfrew to the west of Yonge, then Cumberland east of Bay, including a view of the north and west RCSs then the NW corner towards the top. The "classic" view from the NE corner of Yonge and Bloor, then from by the old Bay entrance to the east. A tight shot of that corner louvre with the adjacent east and north facing ones there on the 1st mechanical levels. Some other shots including straight up with traffic lights etc. Several shots of workers attaching a load and it being hoisted by the crane, glass from Vietnam one of them told me. Finally, the view from Queen's Pk Cres E just north of College.

Found these photos on LinkedIn, including one taken from the 70th floor.

This post is not of my photos, but of those Steve Linked to above, posted by Harley Valentine on Linkedin.

I am reposting as the photos don't show for me on UT, and I wanted to make sure they would for everyone.

First 2 are from the 70th floor looking out.

I have not been in the loop, do we know if the developer has chosen to build to the maximum allowed height?
Currently, no...unless Tridel is planning to surprise everyone at the very end.

A bit disappointing but at least they are finishing the project at all considering all the financial troubles......

I wonder which buildings we can look forward to in the next few years to take the crown of tallest in this city 😥
