Sunray Group is working with the City of Toronto on site plan applications for a multi-phased, mixed-use, predominately high-density residential development that could potentially include:
– three residential condominiums of 31 to 40 storeys with a combined 1,044 units;
– retail uses;
– expansion to the hotel;
– a new nine-storey office/commercial building;
– and a multi-level, above-grade parking structure.

So the Sunray Group who bought the property in July are moving quickly then. So far, AFAIK, they've only developed hotels, retail strip plazas, gas stations, and are building three 80-ish bed retirement residences. Nothing of this scale. I wonder if they're planning on going rental with the first two residential towers, if they really are plowing ahead so quickly.

Or they are retaining the sale contracts that the previous developer had secured.
