Investors don’t care. Homeowners do. Investors won’t be living in those units…as long as someone is paying rent and the value appreciates, they’re happy.I wonder if investors new that their lake view would be blocked off?
You’re in for beeping trucks for a while with Ontario Line and TOC coming….Been watching (and, even more crankily, hearing) this thing go up for 3 years now (feels like decades). Anyway, looks like they've cleared out the interior of the glassed-in retail space, and they've started putting down bricks in the courtyard area. In the last couple of days they also poured this concrete oval structure. Maybe a planter? What I really want to know is how the place is going to meet Distillery Lane,. Actually, what I really what to know is why they need to wake me up at 5AM every every day with their beeping trucks, but maybe some mysteries weren't meant to be solved.View attachment 692199View attachment 692200
Great angle and update, but yeah- I’m curious how it takes a retail tenant and functions during Ontario Line construction first- then I think 31r and whatever the fate of the “ribbon building” ends up being dictates connection.Been watching (and, even more crankily, hearing) this thing go up for 3 years now (feels like decades).
