Thanks for the great shots. I have some qualms, but I'm pretty optimistic about the main, eastern entrance. It looks like it'll be expansive and open, which will compliment One York next door really nicely.
 
I am so disappointed by this project.

I am also surprised by the number of UTers who gave the renders a pass, with most users impressed by its sharp street-level presence. Other than the base and decent appeal from the eastbound Gardiner, the project is a typical Tridel mess - cheap spandrel, uninspiring early 00s crown, and will cover the far more interesting Ice condos. And the worst part is its prime postcard placement in the skyline.
 
And the base will now just be a box on the actual street side. No long a chisel out of the corner. So sad what a loss there to.
 
It's an awesome shot, but scary close to the Island Airport! I worry about such things as a frequent traveler with pilot friends who want drones banned anywhere close to airports.
