Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

If the podium glass is anything like the renders, this could be eye-poppingly good. The down side is the risk of increased fender benders on the Gardiner. ;-)

Visually, it seems like they used a lot more concrete for the podium than I've typically seen for other projects. I wonder if this was simply an aesthetic design choice or if there was a need for a stronger than normal structure due to the location?

As cool as this is looking, I can't help but wish that they had carried the flatiron shape up the whole tower. Oh well, still excited! Hope the cladding is nice!

This project might become Toronto best residential tower, or at least one of the top three.

I doubt TRIDEL will miss their historical chance and screw up this building façade, promote their name in a prominent land mark location must be obvious and not missed.

They've already screwed up their last opportunity to make a statement at a very prominent location with 300 Front. Now the busloads of tourists filling the square in front of the CN Tower get an eyeful of spandrel.

I agree don't expect a lot here until we get it ... Mind you the cladding on the alexandra park (SQ) and of course Hullmark in NYCC are amazing (both in their own ways), so ... maybe ... he're hoping.

Basically no tourists will even pay attention to what is across the road from the CN Tower.
