Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Yeah, I'd definitely say it could. Once the office tower on the Ice lot goes up we'll see even more people regularly milling about, and the retail/restaurant scene should continue to develop and improve. With the three condo towers going up to the direct south etc., this part of the city won't feel like it's just developing anymore. In fact, I'd say Southcore feels pretty complete as it is. It no longer feels new and empty.

The big remaining element of course is Union Station. Upon its completion we'll have a major retail hub close by to anchor the residential, commercial and entertainment market.

The Main tower is a lot smaller than I though it would be

The live webcam thread should be situated on top of the parking garage. The 8th floor shots from there show much more than what's there right now.

The owners of that parking lot seem to have taken notice of its photographic value, and now chase away photographers and charge piles of money for use as a filming location. Major speculation here, but I wouldn't be surprised if placing the webcam there was already talked about, but wasn't worth the price.

Great shots. Thanks for posting those. It looks like the tower might shoot up now, that is, if the first few floors of the tower don't have a layout that's different from the remaining floors. There should be some nice progress on this this summer either way.

Those SOBs must've been talking to the guys over at the Kensington parking garage :p

Speaking of which - where exactly is that one? I went looking for it a few days ago and ended up a 5-6 level one a couple blocks north of Dundas

Just west of Spadina with entrances on St. Andrew and Baldwin

That's the one I was at. I guess my memory of the view in other pix is not as good as I thought. I can picture some grafitti in yours that I never saw. Maybe it was just painted over since

I think the floorplate will be quite interesting from that last photo! It should really work well off Ice next door.
