They need to do something to the mechanical box on top of the building. I'd say clad it in the same black material that's on the box that runs the length of the base.

The exterior of the south podium is nearly complete now, having been in a patchwork state for many months where parts of the cladding, glazing, and columns were done and others weren't. Pictures from this evening around 5pm.

Lately driving by this building i have noticed that something does not look right with the mechanical box exposed on the west and east sides of this building, it would be nice to see the same type of fins maybe a bit shorter installed in this open space.
 
Agreed....

The east and west views showing the mechanical box just doesn't look right. Unfinished looking. I don't know why they didn't put fins on these sides as well.
 
I would rather see it clad in the same material as the podium, instead of being hidden by fins. If we added fins to the sides, you would barely notice the fins on the front and back.
 
Either clad it in glass, or they should have incorporated mechanicals into additional top floors. A perfectly good tower until the mechanical box happened.
