Long time lurker....first time poster. Meant to take a screen shot....someone posted on Instagram of a mural they were painting inside and took a shot into the bowl. Looks like the frame for the new video board is being built and the hockey boards are now installed....much bigger video board than what we've previously had in here!

That looks kinda small for a scoreboard, even the existing one. I think it might be something else.

Oh yeh that does look smaller than the other photo I saw. In this case, really hope that isn't the scoreboard but not sure what else that would be.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the scoreboard.

My guess is that they want the scoreboard fully hidden from the public view during concerts and they want it small enough so it can fit right above the roof truss supports so it's out of view. It would be in theme with their "concert experience first" approach.

Another thing I noticed....the entrances to the dressing rooms behind the benches get covered up with seats for concerts now unlike the old Copps.

As expected, the site is packed with people today. They've planted flowers in the beds, put up Christmas lights, and painted the lay-bys on Bay. Employee training on the inside.

It's going to be a crazy next week for them to make certain that this project is actually complete and not have workers still building after it actually opens.

Sounds like a soft opening with Earth, Wind and Fire on the 18th.

Screenshot from that Scott The Destoyer's IG. Not sure, but it looks like the scoreboard will fit within that slot in the centre of the ceiling in order to be tucked away for certain events. If true, then its size will be pretty limited.

New clip shows a little more of the interior. For the most part, it looks/feels like a brand new arena.
