I've been in spaces formerly occupied by law firms and those stairwells were filled in with reinforced concrete as the space was returned to base building status. It shouldn't be a problem with wood. It would be a different process.
 
I do know that it can be expensive but doable. When converting office to residential a huge part of renovation is installing utilities. Hopefully the industry gets better at it and the costs are reduced!

Love the art and colour and can’t wait to see who the retail tenants are going to be! lol Promised my friend that we wouldn’t end up at Teronni just because we were nearby and there are hundreds of options here. Guess what? We ended up at Teronni! Taken 25 January.

Heard a little info from local coffee shop. Hines is actively looking for a restaurant for one of the main floor retail spaces and is offering two years free rent. Please let it be Cluny and not Earl’s! Brodflour would also be a great fit.
 
I think that these buildings and the museum
