Interesting that the permit suggests the entire building would be demolished, retaining only the north facade. Renderings suggest that only the south facade would be demolished.

Maybe they're planning on rebuilding the east and west facades by leveraging the demolished bricks? It might have something to do with the quality of the other sides.
