I literally thought that a mistake was made and that they were pictures of Ice. I think finishing material quality will be key here.

Only those 2 towers however along with the LCBO tower.

Pretty much like every development on the waterfront so far. For some reason developers don't feel that this place is worthy of their best work.

Just make them black. They do look like like ice, but More angular? The form concerns me a lot less than the same colour/ material as everything else there.
