I much prefer the early 70s radio version: "NOBODY! BEATS! BAD BOY!" over tinny electronic effects straight out of a Z-grade Martian-invasion movie

The more things change...

The building has ramps because it will be set up as a normal garage. Each parking space will have its own stack parker, which doubles the amount of parking in the garage. They can also make twice as much dough...

I heard they are using them. They're found throughout Toronto buildings...

I'm not so sure if parking stackers are possible in Trump Tower because:

  1. parking stackers have to be installed on leveled ground, but Trump's garage levels appear to be a continous 'sprial ramp' on a constant incline
  2. the garage floor heights seem pretty low, can it fit a parking stacker which may require 3.2 metres to 3.7 metres in clearance ??

Just an FYI... we just launched a new blog for tracking the progress of construction at Trump Toronto.

http://construction.trumptoronto.ca

We have still have a few things to update and fix... but thought I'd give everyone here a heads up. We have some great pictures from the inside of the building these last couple of months.

Cheers!

Fantastic, thanks for the link and keeping us posted TT!

  1. Not true. I'm pretty sure they can be installed on a slope.

Awesome! I added the RSS feed to my reader. Thank you for that.

I'm so depressed...

I was supposed to be the operator on this job....

But instead, I have to watch it going up from my crappy cab at the Vu...

I vote for VDub getting assigned to the trump project!

New Trump Toronto Website

Just an FYI... we're finally launching our new website... still working on a couple of back-end things, but it will be launched any day now... for a sneak peak you can visit the following address:

http://www.trumptoronto.ca/urbantoronto

It's still a little slow on the load time... but there are some cool new things: Checkout The Building / Photos & Video / Views / Views

It's one of my favorite things about the new site: you can scroll the panormamic view back and forth.

Cheers!

Thanks for that. Some great pics from inside. I wish we had insiders on the Casa site who could post some pics of the views and interiors.
