These are nothing but Sauga snapshots (except the first two)!
#3: Mavis/401
#4: Near YYZ
#5,6: Courtney Park/McLaughlin
#7: Tomken
#8,9: YYZ
#10: No need to explain
Nice shots of Sauga skyline!

Then again, T.O.'s sprawls are pretty bad today, which is the norm in GTA.

What flight did you took to get these snapshots?

Mississauga is Toronto sprawl

I took these while landing at Pearson, on a flight from Ottawa. The 401 shot is landing at Pearson on my way back from Regina. The weather was bad so I didn't get many shots.

It makes sense if you're in a plane landing in Toronto that the shots closest to the ground would be in Mississauga lol. But I agree, Mississauga fully counts as "Toronto sprawl". Can't dispute that really.

Mississauga City Centre's *upward* movement during the past decade really is quite impressive, although at times, done at the expense of architectural quality.

I thought I would post this picture from last March. It's from 35, 000 ft on my way to New York from Seoul, and we just happened to pass over T.O! One is of NYCC and the other is of Woodbine racetrack.

It's nice to see aerials of other Toronto parts rather than just downtown.

A trip to the Toronto Archives shows how fast things change... Here's 1935 - West of Bathurst, north of Eglinton Ave West. On the far right 3/4 down the photos you can see the bridge over Bathurst St. at Old Forest Hill Road, right around here

Just a couple of km's south, east, though, Forest Hill is pretty much complete, like the intersection of Russell Hill and Old Forest Hill Roads during the same flight
