Did they run out of material for the top left corner of the building? ?

Not bad for only having about a dozen pixels total
Here is a video put out by Scotiabank Arena which shows a time lapse of the changes to that side of the building.
The Scotiabank Arena LED screen has been in violation of the city's signage laws since it opened, by being on past 11pm, and that too at its full daytime intensity (5,000 nits), when it should be down to 300 nits after sunset. To give some context, the absolute brightest residential TV displays can only reach up to 2,000 nits of brightness. Watching from the ground at night, you actually have to squint while looking at the TV and let your eyes adjust to the brightness.
According to Councillor Cressy, several complaints had already been filed by the time I reached out. Considering they spent a couple days calibrating the TV at day and night, this is a disappointing display of incompetence by whoever is involved.
From the 9th floor lobby at Maple Leaf Square Condo it looks almost like thunder when the screen has nay sort of white. When the screen has white on it, Bremner lights up completely. I could probably read a book with how bright that screen is.
How does anything look like thunder? Do you mean lightning?
