Instead of stacking the levels in the orthodox way, they really looked at how to create great interior spaces to be in. That will also make the forming more interesting to watch than a traditional development in this city (read: condo):

21 October 2013: With all these gaping holes and rundown buildings with crappy and/or empty storefronts, Downtown Yonge is beginning to remind me of Ste Catherine c.2001.

On a side note - the one from above really shows off how huge 10 Dundas is.

Peculiar thing: as my GO train was coming down to Union this morning, I noticed shipments of cladding arriving at the huge parking lot at the West Don Lands (Pan-Am village area). That cladding definitely belongs to the Ryerson SLC.

Ryerson's logo really needs a refresh to keep up with their new buildings. I hope they don't stick that outdated rectangle on the SLC.
