I was at the site today and got an image from the south end which isn’t really informative as it is a concrete runway! lol 
But one observation is that the YZD Experience Centre will provide a southern anchor/entry point to the festival area that is next to the venue. Also the events at the Rogers Stadium won’t be the only large events as Veld etc is held at Downsview Park.

It sounds like calling the development a "stadium" will be reaching. I suspect we'll see bare bones facilities with bleachers, tents and temporary structures.

I suspect Rogers was against giving their name to something like the Rogers Mud Bowl
