You will be pleased to know that MVVA (the landscape architecture firm behind the park) have multiple ongoing projects in Toronto - including the Don Mouth project and the Landscape of Landmark Quality at U of T.

Agreed. That yellow would have popped!!

If the gold is gone, I won't mind. This building has every bit of 'pop' that it needs.

Impressive that they are using frameless glass railings on some of the balconies -- you don't see that done here.
I'm guessing there will be an aluminum handrail cap on the glass to prevent the glass from shattering if there was an impact to the edge of the glass.

Sorry, why was it that they decided not to go with the yellow balconies. I can refer back a few pages if it was discussed.

I am also impressed they've gone with frameless glass balconies, since all the other balconies do have visible frames.

I'm not sure how there's any hope for yellow though. I imagine it would have been coloured glass -- unless they double pane, or apply a strange tint, how would they incorporate it at this point?

In any case, I've e-mail the sales staff to ask, so hopefully we get an official answer!

Still a HUGE dissapoinment not having gone with some of the pops of yellow balconies. They really made this stand out in the render. Now it’s just blending in with surroundings... kinda.

Blending in? It's the tallest structure in its immediate area and it has such striking lines. I'm OK with the balconies thus far, overall there's a clean modular look to this building and I'm thrilled that it's a new east end landmark.
