Not to mention, what exactly is a "pristine residential community"?

Not even my friend group's camping settlements could be described as entirely pristine.
 
Remember when people in Etobicoke got together to protest Mississsauga buses and block them from operating on Burnhamthorpe? And these peopel had the support of the City of Toronto, which banned Mississauga buses from the Islington terminal. Eventually, Mississauga Transit was forced to reroute the 86 Burnhamthorpe Express (later the 206, now the 76) from Burmhamthorpe and inconvenience many riders. The ridership of Burnhamthorpe corridor has continuous declined since then.

And let's not also forget the fact the City of Toronto bans 905 transit from operating within its borders. Toronto isn't a good neighbour, isn't it? Toronto as a whole is the worst NIMBY of all.
 
There's a coffee roaster just down the lane from the brewery. Are they going to complain about the aroma too?
 
Checked out the brewery this afternoon whilst out walking my dog. I'll tell you one thing - they can thank the NIMBYs for a sharp uptake in their business. Lots of people coming in a out and a real positive atmosphere around the place.
 
Yesterday I decided to bike downtown to see the Pan Am festivities, but along the way I made sure to visit the hood where the subway lady lives. I managed to produce a couple of honks too.

I'm not surprised. I went by Friday afternoon and picked up 6 and a T-Shirt for a gathering I was having that night, everyone absolutely loved their beer.

ETA - Also the fridge where they had the cold ones for sale was almost empty.
 
This was sent out to residents at a condo yesterday. I've worked from home for years and haven't had any issues. Are people supposed to start muzzling their babies now?

That's ridiculous. Also a reflection on the absolutely terrible noise isolation between units in newer condos these days. I may live in one of those old ugly condos on the waterfront, but my neighbour's child can scream as loud as he wants and I can't hear a thing unless I have my ear pressed against the wall.
