Never underestimate what developers can do... there are indeed several floor plans with no window in the bedroom. Instead, there is a frosted glass wall.

Are the frosted walls on the north end next to the existing building? Really close quarters there.

The frosted windows are interior walls that are frosted glass so it is quite a distance to any outside light. Not very good for furniture placement. The north exposure of this building appears to be a concrete wall.

Greetings. I'm near this development and decided to take some pictures. Hopefully we'll really see business pick up in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for the update, DowntownTO. Looks to be a noticeable growth of about 2 floors in 3 weeks since last update. Still painfully slow to watch this one rise though. I understand this is a narrow and intricate site but I believe the main reason for this slow pace is lack of consistent construction activity. I've walked by many times on week days and did not see any workers on site. Hopefully things really pick up this spring/summer.

I like skinny sliver towers like this (see Crystal Blu) but hopefully the execution is much better!

Here's another update. Slow, but steady.

This development is actually a lot bigger than it seems. It stretches from Simcoe to University and is actually a nice width. I hope these photos show that.

Very slow progress on this one.. First tentative occupancy date was initially set at November 2012. The sales centre across the street is now reporting "late 2013, early 2014."

I purchased on the 40th floor facing south (Level 37) - Sales centre estimates that all units above level 35 will clear the Zurich building to the immediate south - judging by the the first 5 floors (which are RCMI floors and likely different ceiling height) I'll be very tight - Anyone think my view will be blocked?

I worked on this project back when I was at Ryerson, and from all of the application drawings I saw at the time, you would definitely clear the Zurich building. I think the sales centre is correct when they claim 35th floor and up will be clearing it.

just to be clear, I dont have any problem with extremely thin towers, it's just the fact that it's being crammed in here between the 2 existing buildings and as a result does not have any windows on its north or south walls. It's my opinion that living in such an arrangement would feel like living in a shoe box. Good luck to those who bought on lower floors... it's not for me.
