As demolition permits have not even been applied for here, I take it things are running behind.

Clearly work is ongoing, but I'm inclined to think this will be pre-demolition abatement of things like asbestos and lead paint.

There’s work (mostly within) on most of the cordoned off buildings, but this is the most gutted.

What goes up, must come down (eventually). Quite unique to see a new build adjacent to demolition (and both now about the same height).

It's funny, living right across the street from all this, the media is all like "That's it, the last of Regent Park is FINALLY being torn down!"

But the whole North/East corner is still being lived in. It's nowhere close to being demolished yet. I think that's still another year or before it will be vacated and fences will go up.

This demolition is not the end of Regent Park yet..."
