I'm liking the strips of brick running up the side if that's what they are! Hard to tell what the cladding between them is. Not a big fan of the mess of balconies. Maybe the brick will redeem it though...

I'm trying to get my bearings here, can anyone confirm...is this project the one already under construction? Or is it the excavated portion?

Is this building 32 or 33 floors? Over here (and from an earlier posting with a Daniels ad) it shows that it is 33 floors. However, currently Daniels is advertising it as 32 floors (https://artworkstower.com).

I tried to look at the Development Application status (http://app.toronto.ca/DevelopmentAp...=4367649&isCofASearch=true&isTlabSearch=false) but don't really understand how it all works. A document there "CA Filed at Hearing - Revised Notice" states the tower will be 100.90m and 32 storeys (with 33 storeys crossed out). Does this mean the height/number of storeys is still under discussion?

It appears that they got permission for 32 storeys (the decision is made) instead of the 33 they were previously looking for. Sorry, no time to look into why, but I have updated the database file with new stats.

Looking at the plans, it looks like there are smaller retail units on the ground level along Dundas, but the second level looks like a huge fully open space for one tenant (12542 sq ft), accessed via escalators. I wonder if that type of setup is intended for a grocery store? If so that would be a great addition to the East end of Regent Park.
