I wouldnt clasify the Wild Card as "playoffs" per se, it's more of a play-in to get into the playoffs. Similar in a way to the NBA's Play-in, but more comprehensive. It's a good thing the MLB came up with it, because the Blue Jays postseason drought would've been a lot lengthier without it.It is a Raptors thread, and there is little reason for hope from them this year.
That said, if you include this year, which is almost a lock at this point, the Jays will have been in the playoffs four of the last six years, and five of the last ten. There are only a handful of teams who have had more playoff appearances in those years. Hate on Rogers all you want, but they are not doing a bad job with the Blue Jays.
