Definitely a step forward.

Not quite as natural as I'd like, but I get that there are competing uses and it's a tight space.

Perhaps, with time, there will be work on the opposite side of the river and the banks upstream and we can get something closer to a natural river mouth; while retaining community access and amenity.

it's a boat launch. You can't just walk your 20' boat down from your place.

No you can't. But you can do the parking area in interlocking brick instead of asphalt; and you can buy additional lands so that you do more to green the river's edge.

I was unaware there was a thread for this. Here are a couple of shots that may have been posted in my dedicated photo thread.

Mississauga is preparing to open its newly revitalised Marina Park on the west side of Port Credit Harbour. The redesigned park now features a mix of programmable multi-use spaces, open green areas and a continuous water’s edge promenade, developed to reflect the community’s cultural heritage and enhance waterfront access for residents and visitors.

Change to complete.
