Correction: it's the Rogers family that owns the land, not Rogers Communication.

There is a really preliminary plan that's been floating around since 2012ish but haven't heard any updates about it in a couple of years.

It looks big enough to build an NHL arena. Forget Markham or Hamilton, Mississauga could support an NHL team. And with HMLRT near by, that reduces a need for parking. Large scale concerts and stuff could also be held there.
 
Nice to see the crane will be there soon..... btw, mods, I am pretty sure that this 2nd tower is actually 48 storeys... you may want to correct the title... :)

Yes that is a deep hole for too many cars and keeping the city to be known as car city. Supposed to be 8 levels
July 24 shots now on line. The only good place to get shots is at the north end only or overhead.
