coming off the Gardiner ramp today, it looked like they have done some interesting work on the circular entrance area between what will be the two Success towers (eventually)....looked like a wooden type of wavedeck going up over what might be a water feature? I didn't have a camera, and couldn't stop there anyway, but can anyone confirm? thx

realistically no, but as discussed a few pages back the claimed height difference is supposed to be 55 ft and 95 ft between Success and the respective MLS towers. I'm not sure if I ever believed those numbers to be so far apart and there has been some suggestion that Success's height has been understated. As far as visual differences perspective is everything...

Courtyard Progess, August 23

Some progress on the courtyard, including an interesting cage-like thingy. Light quality not great on this dreary afternoon. Of course the sun came out after I got home!

Thx Matrix for the update on the courtyard....I had driven by there a while back, saw the wooden deck-thing over what is probably going to be a fountain....missed the metal cage entirely...

Interesting stuff, thx again....:)

aweome photo update! I think that cage thing is generally what might be referred to as a "pergola"... used to cover decks or walkways, and often having vines growing up the supports and across the top. In this case it doesnt look like there is any space left for planting vines but it still makes a very nice decorative element for the courtyard area.
