Toronto photos de-edited: Share your editing process!

I know many of us on UT like to edit our photos before sharing. Sometimes an average shot can become a lot more with a bit of work, but we rarely see how it starts out.
Figured I would share a window into how the process works with a little GIF. Here's one of the Yorkminster Citadel at Yonge and 401, showing all the steps from my initial in-camera shot to the final edit.

I encourage others to post their favourite shots compared with the unedited version!

How do you even do that?! mind blowing!
Just a lot of tedious wire-tracing using the content aware correction tool in PS
 
Mostly colour adjusted to reflect what is seen with eye and adjustment to highlights, shadows and clarity. I don't use brushes or fantasy editing.

I just stumbled across this thread. What a great one! For a long time I was in awe (still am) in how some manage to get such amazing shots and edited finals. Still a noob at this and only learned to edit after a friend shared his instagram editing techniques. Here’s some of what I consider my best:
