I think it's perceived as hip and edgy not to care. Caring about design would be too stuffy and pretentious, like having a condo with a full size kitchen you can prepare food in.

Any indication on who the grocer tenant may be? It seems as though with the building topped off and the commercial units in shell condition now, that tenant fixuring should be in the works shortly and hopefully we will know the name of the grocer, as occupancy (looking at the state of the building) can be sometime later this year. CBRE had the listing and also wondering if the 4 or 5 other smaller commercial retail spaces were leased out as well..
