these big posters were put up in a parking lot between an apartement building and a commercial building of some sort right across from LUXE and finch station. wonder if the parking lot is the site their going to build on. if it is, it's not gonna be much of a view if you're facing the apartments.

That was the first phase. The developer was to busy erecting something else.
 
they started work on the sales center.

so i guess they'll have to sell all the units before they start the actual work on the condo? or will they move the center like they did with LUXE?

But you are right... this one building speaks to maturity of design in Toronto.

It's gorgeous. It is also the first project to fearlessly acknowledge just how the males on this planet resist the temptation to blow us all up. Not romantic. Not fussy. Just the facts.

The Palms. Where would we be without this (project)?
 
Different from the norm, but still... ICK. Looks very Miami, but I had a suspicious feeling it would have that kind of look. Also it's very 90's looking. EARLY 90's.
 
I was going to say the same thing... a touch of Miami comes north. Makes sense based on the name though. Shame this is a stand alone building... would prefer to see a whole complex building on this theme.
 
They may have more phases up their sleeve - or do we know for sure they don't?
