Predictable, bland designs sure sell well in Etobicoke - no wonder developers don't even try out here.
 
You're right, they are very nice indeed, but the developer couldn't have designed more boring towers if they tried, and that's the most visible part...

I prefer One Valhalla's curved glass towers over the typical "glass box" seen throughout Toronto ~
 
If anything, this curved green glass look is far more common throughout Toronto than the glass box look. It does boggles my mind that so many don't see it with their "not another box"
 
With the new name (to keep the location fresh in a down market?) perhaps a new design?

The second phase of One Valhalla by Edilcan Dev in Etobicoke has a name: "Thunderbird" !

Other than the obvious classic late 80's Ford Thunderbird, I think of the beautiful Thunderbird student residences at UBC....
 


well its not exactly a new name ... just a name for the second phase of the One Valhalla project I think ~
 
these are doing well as they are rather well priced, near the highway, near the subway and easy acess to the rest of the GTA.
