Yes we will miss the view over Rosedale that we have lost, however, it could be a much worse building to look at than 1 Bloor West.

Progress has been rapid on pouring the corners at the top - all the corner blue forms have moved up a level, to 84, since last Friday - only one more floor until the main concrete portion of the tower is complete! In contrast, the black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the skin are still where they have been for 3 weeks now, on levels 64 and 65, though, again, the mini-RCS on the south side is up a floor, now to level 64. And we do now see the windows for level 65 installed on the south face. Nineteen floors to go. The only other change I see from last week is the top of the external elevator. They seem to have removed the one that went to level 81, they both now top out at level 80.

Starting with the view from Yonge and Dundas, moving up to the view from around Charles Street, including closer peeks at the RCSs on the south side, and the top. Next, to Cumberland east of Bay, including a closer look at the top with the corner scaffolds now at the penultimate level. An out-of-focus high-contrast view of the zig-zag cladding, followed by the view from Bloor, just east of Yonge, then from the intersection itself. Some of the guys working on the tower walked by on lunch break and asked to pose - here's my nod to the crews actually building this thing! Then, a view looking up from the east side, then down to Wellesley and Church for that view, then College and Queen's Park to the SW, with final views from Harbord near St George, and Bloor near Manning to the west.

Great photo of the three construction guys posing with their work behind them. *Somebody* should get the entire crew
together for a photo, and close the intersection for an historic occasion for the city. They deserve it -- trades, labourers,
security, supervisors, everybody. Even the architects and engineers . . .

So by the end of the week we should have all corners completed might need one of our drone operators to take a peek and see what is going on with the core whether the elevator shafts have been poured for 85 and floor slab has started to be formed or if we will see the elevator shafts go up one level then capped for the TMD

IIRC, there were photos taken in the retail space at the 300m ceremony of the crew members that were there that day,

And paying them well for their services would be much more meaningful than giving them a "Thanks for all the fish!" send off, IMO.
