okeeee I stand corrected. I think it’s the lack of outdoor space that I absolutely despise about “apartment” style projects that’s likely having me think of palace pier. While they’re great buildings with great grounds I wouldn’t want to live in a space I couldn’t sit and get some sun on my face. I am liking one Bloor more as readers share photos of it from different angles - it’s just not a livable building IMO

Photos taken today, Friday (Oct. 3). Some incremental movement upward since I posted a week ago. No new activity visible at top where work on the crown will start soon, presumably, at least from the perspective of the streets and sidewalks below. The west and south Rail Climbing Systems installing the skin have both moved up to join the east and north ones at level 70. And on the south face we can see glass and cladding now up to that level, completing (at least visually) one of the diagonal six-floor sections.

I've included as the last shot a different view, from High Park Avenue, north of Bloor, 1 Bloor W just barely in it, but a kinda interesting perspective. Taken Saturday.

Wishing Tridel had gone taller with this one. My mind is mentally adding the missing section to the top and it would have looked so much more balanced and complete.

Just a minor nitpick on what is otherwise a stunning addition to the skyline.
